Who we are

GastroMaison is a small specialist business whose partners are Lesley Davis and Iain Twinn from Black Notley in North Essex.

After graduating from catering college Lesley took up a position in the renowned Lords of The Manor Cotswold country house hotel gaining a wealth of experience in haute cuisine. At the age of twenty-five she progressed to a head chef position at the nearby Grapevine country house hotel. From there Lesley moved into the contract catering sector and enjoyed several years specialising in directors fine-dining for Gardner Merchant, now Sodexho.
Latterly Lesley has turned to hospitality training and currently works part-time for an Essex college delivering National Vocational Qualifications.

Iain has an HND in Hotel Management and had an intensive training in the hospitality business. At an early age he held senior front of house management responsibilities at The George at Stamford and The Old Bridge at Huntington and was licensee/manager of The Three Horseshoes at Madingley near Cambridge.

A career change took him into sales with Coca-Cola Schweppes and then into the sports goods industry with the adidas group. Iain progressed to management roles with adidas in key accounts and sales before becoming European Product Marketing Manager for the golf category.

He is delighted to be back working in the hospitality business delivering a premium quality proposition in a specialist and personalised manner.
